am totally broken hearted to report i've lost o.g traildog louie tonight. i took this photo almost exactly a year ago and it was the last time the old fella went to the woods. am gona miss him so much i can hardly bare it. just hope he's running around somewhere again like he'd only being able to do in his dreams for some time. love you louie.x

was still wet but made for good digs on saturday. monoli(p)th is now real wide to make the line better and should be a little less scary being next to the tree. we stacked up the landing in-front of it too but wrapped it up before i took a photo. green velvet berm is crazy mossy. weather looks half decent this week? sayed in on sunday to look after louie, best dog ever. x

looks like the rains back with a vengeance?!! seeing as it's back to digging i treated myself to this...long handled flat head loads of this bulldog stuff i'd like...(all these are links to ebay if anyone fancies tooling up?!!!) -long handled digging spade -rakey -nail rakey -plastic leaf rakey -seive i could go on!!! we do however definitely need  more tarp, am thinking this stuff -tarp it's £56 for 2m wide stuff or you can get 4m wide stuff. need a whip around because we need this. also think we oughta stump up for some decent ply to finish the roll-in too? -plywood this guy is in cannock...wonder if he'd do a deal on a few sheets? -more plywood ...bit thinner ply but cheaper!

traillife! actual bikes in the woods?!!! rain came back sunday though so cleaned the horrible crap out the drains hoping it'll prevent any flooding, and then repaired the 6th lip after the hooving up it got and also resurfaced the tree berm. bonus dog shots because i can...and my brother nick in oz checks this and loves them!x

never ending winter?

i took this photo of gough testing his new race bike from a video i shot on my phone back in march, it was one of the first and unexpectedly last sessions we have had in the woods so far this year. after checking out the new goats and weird sheep it looked almost dry enough to ride when i went up the woods on saturday, but then a thunder storm rolled in and mud hooves and snoring returns to burning wood for warmth in august. what can you do about this sort of weather?!!! there's a cool frank zappa quote i like that goes something like...'the first rule is don't give up, the second rule is keep on going'

redbull thing in berlin...

check this out, redbull are doing some race/trails hybrid thing. i think i told some of you guys about 'mellowpark' when i was going over to berlin for abit, well they building this there so i'm pretty sure it'll just get left there afterwards as it's already just a massive area of skateparks and trails anyway. pretty cool.
