monday evenin

me and kag did a fair bit of digging over the last few of days. the bottom 2 fleur photos are a clue to the 2 things we been working on! pity the photo of kag boosting came out blurred... managed to break the screen on my phone again tonight though so rather than fixing it yet again i'm gona buy summat with a better camera on it seeing as i always end up using it for photos!!!

gnarl

skateboarding is nearly as much fun as riding trails! this skatepark just got built in copenhagen and had a
load of pro's come over to open it. total gnarl and some of the stuff done on the over-vert section is unbelievable.
also has footage of chris miller on here. that dude was my favourite vert skater back in the day, he was a
contemporary of tony hawk, but where hawk had tricks miller had style and flow. haven't seen footage of him
for aeons so was amazing to see he still skates at such a high standard! rad as fook.

Wednesday

Any day at the woods is good, and yesterday, being a Wednesday, was no exception....

... and J - never, ever, don't put your bike in the car, at least until maybe November ;)

Patched up the 1st couple of landings in the shorter but larger line, as it's about time they were in a good ridable state, it didn't take much and seemed to work out considering the general dry-ness of the wood, plus twas apparently appreciated by some...

thought it'd be too wet to ride, so didn't bring my bike.big mistake! still very dry in woods. fixed a few things though , meant to be hot this weekend so will try to take advantage of that!

Seen this on the Mutiny page today, thought it was a great shot of the new Austin TX skatepark that was just been built when I was there. Gutted it wasn't finished but always next time ;)

no bull

couldn't see the bull anywhere in the woods, was either lurking deep or has moo-ved on (see what i did there? came in a flash of inspiration...hilarious no?) this lamb gang are always hanging about together. de-mulched 6th landing tuther day, filled it out again and smoothed out the ruts tonight. had abit of a soul ride and tested my first attempt at building a wheel up. yup.

err...watch out for the moody bull crossing the berm if you go down the woods!!! god knows how we gona get that beast back out of the wood, suppose there aint that much to eat in there? hope he dont hoof too much stuff up on his adventures.

overground project.jeff phillips tribute.

my old mate oly has been working on the overground project for a while now. last week they had a big event as a kind of tribute and memorial to an old pro skater called jeff phillips.(my first ever pro deck was a jeff phillips model!) oly built this monster vert ramp in about a week just for this event! rad.
