so that actually happened, for a day at least because now it's raining again!!! stuffs slowly getting back in shape...but this rain needs to fok off. love my iphone camera...but it isn't performing for catching fast moving stringers in a shady woodland.

been a while since the sky has been this blue?!!! tarps are coming off 1 by 1. would love to be working on the new jumps but the stuff before them is in just as bad a state and needs to be rideable first. so much to do still!!!

rain has actually stopped for abit at least, stuffs had a proper battering though. real trail geek picture of where the tarps being sat and how much the rain has washed away! me and kag dug up the drain infront of the 1st lip and relaid a better solid pipe because the other 1 wasn't working. un-tarped a couple of the lips that didn't look too bad. hope this sunshine holds out! plenty to do to get things running again.

yes summer...

well...after pumping out all the drainage on tuesday i was not expecting everything to be flooded again. if you look in the barrow on the left you can see how much rain we had since... looks like about 2inches fell even though i felt like it had hardly rained!!! spent most of the day pumping everything out again. i am kinda overwhelmed with the amount there is to do to get the jumps rideable again. forecast is starting to look better so guess will just have to get on with it?

did some jobs with bobcat and stringer this evening. had already pumped this dry on saturday...but mondays rain re-filled it!!! done it again tonight and pumped out all the other drainage water now. fingers crossed that the gulf stream is finally on the move and we may yet get some sort of summer!!!?

new calfs hanging out, but even their field is soaked.  flooding is definitely the worst i've ever seen it, but the terratek pump is ace though. it moved at least 30,000 litres of water today. fleur and plastic duck approved.

this guy moved to the u.k for the trails...but has gone back to preynier because of the weather. can't blame him because i bet this was one of the handful of runs he must've have managed where he'd been digging this year?!!!

sunny summer deluge...

no let up in the rain, plenty of sheltering in the hut and listening to fleur snoring. foxgloves are going off in the woods and even growing on the back of the berms. stoked on the photos of some reallife sunshine spotted in the trees. drainage mission has begun...but i'm going to buy a water pump. i am determined to ride trails this summer!!!

the second cement park on ere about half way in is the new market harborough park i think, used to be a mad old 70's bowl here that i skated a few times, i'd say it's about an hours drive away...looks good eh?(obviously need to try and go when the skooter kids are at school though!!!?) loving the ghetto cement on ere too, am thinking of getting hem on another mission to build some cement somewhere, any ideas? (preferably with a roof!!!?)

flooding was pretty bad but not as bad as i was fearing after getting junes usual rainfall in an hour. techy line berm is getting really rad looking, ghetto went so into beast mode getting clay up that he dug himself an early grave so dan put him out of his misery! kags experimental 'me jubilee' landing is almost up and the experiment seems to be working! loving how the trails are filling out, but the question is...will we get to ride this year?!!!
