told ya i'd post more cardiel vids! this edit is a fookin classic...(dude even 360's a bmx at some trails near the start!)
also at about 1.30 there is a perfect example of how skateboards can suddenly kick your arse totally out of the blue!!!
i mean...look at some of the stunts he does on this video and rides away from, and then see how hard he slams here

old and new...
first video is from 1993. john cardiel has got to be 1 of my all time favourite skaters. infact i will post some
more of his vids over the coming weeks. cardiel got really badly injured in a freak accident a few years ago
now and was told he'd never walk again...but within months he was walking and riding bikes! dude even
skates again now, though it's obviously very difficult for him to do so. look how he rips the marsaille hip.
dude skates so fast and with so much style. i have got an amazing story about cardiel at marsaille...
but i will try and find the video that goes with it and save the story for then!!! second video is a chill session
at the thrasher skatepark from some cardiels antihero team-mates.

Gorge Road New Zealand
The good gent Chris has arrived safely in Queenstown, NZ, is getting sunburnt, and is riding trails...lucky man....shame I didn't get a job earlier as that'd mean I wouldn't have such a long wait till I can go enjoy some riding with Jimmy, Lol, Nath and the Gorge Road crew
Have to say the place looks dialed, hopefully I can get out there the start of March and hit those lush looking lines - thanks for the pics Chris, thanks for the dedication from the Gorge Road locals 8}(
