spring 2014...

real good weekend in the woods, most people digging at once today than since perhaps the first year of the woods? got a bunch of things done but there's loads left to get finished. woods are super dry with the sun and wind, and the forecast looks good for the foreseeable, typical i will be out the country for it!!!

lambing...

put at least 30 barrows on the landing below, but you can't see any of them here because they all went on stacking up the back. was a mission to do it but am glad i did, cheers to chris for the power hour that helped get it done. needs a good surfacing now.  the lambs in the bottom meadow are cuter than usual this year?!!

first i looked at the pair of lips...

looked about 7ft tall maybe???

then i spotted jared carter amongst the trees and it all fell into perspective. mad!!? here's re-up of his top notch vid...

spring cleaning...

spring sun, spring showers, spring lambs and clocks giving an hour for british summertime. thought we'd got a tramp in the hut for abit but harvey the farm ginger got grassed up by caravan chicken small dog guy! some cool lambs this year, some ace little black and black/white ones i will try to photograph better if i can get nearer. had left some tarps off because stuff is bone dry and crumbly under them but rain wasn't too kind either. there's so much to do...surface mission continues but i'm running out of time before everyone just wants to ride??!

Moke Lake

I've walked around, up and behind and too Moke Lake a few times, and will probably do so again, Here is a Pano test I took today, on a very summery autumn day :)

all seasons day...

drove to the woods saturday expecting to have a few runs, but as soon as i got there it rained hard, then got sunny, then hailed, then got sunny, then rained and so on. started surfacing a few things, including the lip below that whilst looking a state but not bad considering it'd never been really touched since it was built 4 years ago now?!!! this jump is looking nicer now with the extra width i put on the left of the landing too. i feel abit overwhelmed with all the jobs left to do to get everything running smooth again, but this rain has kind of helped and i guess it'll all come together?
