saw a couple of these on deville's instagram feed, but nicked these off revenantsofthem crazy summer and bad times at villij. there's talk of getting a pump for our woods to use with our generator. if it works i'm going to take it up villij for them guys because this flooding sucks big time.
blasting the wood burner in late june is kinda ridiculous?!!! yes english summer! check out how green and mossy this little lip is, tis a year old and has never yet being ridden! had a solo sesh on the berm, few more hours and it'll be ready for surfacing. am loving the look of how this line is developing...is gona be like surfing dirt!!!?
woods are soaked... wetter than they got all winter. fleurs mud hooves have returned. climbed up the big landing at the bottom of the wood for the 1st time and am stoked on the view back. suppose at least all this crap weather makes for good digging? hut is now fully stealth and looks amazing. louie doesn't get to go up the trails these days so i added a photo of him in the garden because louie will always be the o.g traildog.x
well, all this miserable weather means plenty of work is getting done down the woods. danny installed his wood burner and it's pretty fookin cool, i think you'd have to agree? fleur was right in there to help with the initial testing and the conclusion is...tremendous success! the question is now 'will we ever leave the hut to dig in the cold and rain?' am feeling abit easier about the new hip landing on the new link now string jumped it and the tweaks have begun. long and low is now medium and longish and looks good. loving all the progress but god please stop raining so we can ride our bikes?!!!
this one's for ma'am. the farmer put this sheep and her newborn lamb in the wood because the little red bull was trying to eat it for some reason!!! bull was slightly crazed pacing back and forth down the fence mooing at it all day! fleur pretended to be the sphinx and then fell asleep whilst i slapped in the tech line berm. the new cross-over mogul-titty thing is coming together and the new transfer'y lip and landing sprung up. stuff was kinda flooded and it's done nowt but rain since...looks like we'll be digging again rather than riding for the foreseeable future.
fleur always finds somewhere cool worth chilling on for a bit? the weather broke so we used the rain for repairs. i fixed the 4th lip...stuck a bunch of clay on it so you never know it might last?!!! (doubtful!!!) and i patched the 6th and the tree berm, and kag and bob re-did the massive berm with a power hour helping from mitch. good stuff!
